President Donald Trump has once again pushed a series of baseless claims about election fraud during a 46-minute video statement on Facebook.

Combining false declarations of victory in key swing states with now-debunked conspiracy theories about Dominion voting machines, the speech was described by one PBS journalist as the "most dishonest" ever given by the president.

Trump began his statement by saying: "This might be the most important speech I have ever given", before launching into a series of fantastical charges against President-elect Joe Biden and the Democrats.

The president even suggested a 'revote' should take place, despite his own Attorney General William Barr finding no evidence of corruption that would alter the outcome of the presidential election.
